PERSONAL ITEMS.
Mir A. Paterson, manager of the Wnbnate West Demonstration Farm at Manaia, was present at the monthly meeting yesterday, and was warmly v ? berm cl bv members of the committee, on hi.s recovery from a serious illness. He briefly expressed his cordial appreciation of tire good wishes an'cl the generous treatment he had received from them. Mrs .1. W. Dittos, of Stanley Point, Auckland, accompanied by the Misses G. Hill and J. Carswell, have been enjoying a fortnight’s sojourn at the Dawson Falls mountain house, and returned to Hawera yesterday, where they are guests at the Central Hotel.
