What is probably the smallest writing ever done is that of a member of the staff of the Ordnance Survey office at Southampton, who has written the Lord’s Prayer eleven times on a space the size of threepenny-piece. He used a litho. brush and a reading glass.
Pennies from children, especially in Sunday schools, have done much to increase the fund which has been launched for the proposed Scottish national memorial to David Livingstone, the missionary and traveller. The amount aimed at is £12,000, of which £7OOO has been raised, subscriptions from children amounting to £I6OO.
