LEMON MANICURE.
ACHIEVES BENEFICIAL RESULTS.
A lemon manicure is new to many.
First prepare a little bowl of boiling hot soapy water, then squeeze in a few drops of lemon juice. This will make a fragrant and softening lotion to soak the finger tips before filing. After the nails have been trimmed dig them into the half lemon and rub the juice well iv This removes all stains from the nails .and from the skin under them.
If the nails are kept clean regularly with the lemon in this way there will be little need for orange stick or nail brush, both of which tend to make matters worse iu the end.
A few drops of lemon juice rubbed round the cuticle keeps it soft and white.
Finally the hands themselves should be rubbed over with a lemon freshly cut. If this is done at night the juice should be allowed to dry on till the hands are washed in the morning. Amazingly white hands and well kept nails will result from this lemon manicure.
The routine use of slices of cut lemon in the water used for washing the hands helps to soften it and keeps the skin in order.
