BUTTER AND CIHEESE. Advice hag been, received; from Mr Samuel Turner, representing J. and J. Lonsdale/ Ltd., oLndon, that the butter market is firmer, prices ranging fr.om 160 s to 1625. The price for cheese is 925. The New Zealand Dairy Produce Board has .received the following market report frown its London office dated December 23, 1927 : BUTTER. New Zealand.—Salted 160si to 1625; unsalted 168 s to 170 s; not much business. doing. Deliveries New Zealand last week 2100 tons; in store 3000 tons. Australian.—Finest salted lots to 160's; unsalted 160 s to 1625. Argentine.—Finest unsalted 164 s to 1565. , Diimish. —182 s tk> 184 s, qpot; l/2s °l>u'tch.—Creamery, unsalted 184 s to 188 s. Siberian. —-Salted, 146 s to 148 s. Retail prices, unchanged ; looking for faiilv good market after holidays. CHEESE. New Zealand. —White 90s to 91s ; exceptionally 925; coloured 88s to 90s; market steady. Canadian.— Finest, white 102 ato 104 s; coloured 100 s to 104 s. English.—Finest, farmers 120 s to 130 s; retail prices unchanged.
