As the result of a mishap on Mount Egmorat on Tuesday last a young ,jnan named Ed. Elsdale, of Takapuna, was admitted to hospital with a badly bruised leg. Elsdale, with his companion, F. S. Beadhman, was rambling on the’ slopes below Humphries Castle, and, in a dash across a rocky slope to some snow which it was desired to reach before the return to the hostel, caught his leg between two boulders. He was assisted back to the North Egmont house and later sent to hospital where it w H as reported that the leg was not fractured and that his progress was satisfactory, «ays the Eltham “Argus.”
