THREE PEOPLE KILLED. A MIRACULOUS ESCAPE. j Y CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT Received 10 a.m. to-day. PARIS, Dec. 27. An express at a level crossing near Chinon crashed into a car occupied by a Frenchman, his son, his wife, his daughter and a friend. The last-named three were crushed to death. The father was seriously injured. The son had a miraculous escape, being thrown forward on the railway track. He landed in the middle of the metals, but had the presence of mind to lie flat until the train passed. He. received onlv a few scratches. —A.P.A. and “Sun.”
