The outside of the course proper was open and provided good going, all interesting work being performed there. C. J ackson used the plough track for Benzora and Partaga. The former set off from the five furlong post, Partaga galloping from the three only. Partaga finished well in front, Benzoraks time for the five furlongs being 1.3 3-5. Bisox went six furlongs by lier.seli on the outside in 1.22. j Troilus finished better than Yawl in a gallop over five furlongs, run in 1.7 3-5. Reremoana had a bit the best of Lady Cavendish in a sprint over four furlongs, run in 51sec. This was the fastest gallop of the moiming. Cool Mint pleased by the _ way ho galloped three furlongs on his own in 38 1-osec. Gasnapper finished in front of Corneroff in 52isec. Vivo, Euphonium, and Lady Desmond set off at the mile post, the trio keeping together for three furlongs, when Vivo got a break of several lengths, which she maintained to tlie finish, running her mile in 1.49 3-ssee, the other pair registering 1.51. Vivo is a great track worker, and would only have to repeat her form in a mile race to he dangerous. Royal Acre galloped by himself over five furlongs, getting the distance in I.G 2-5. . ' The two-year-olds Silver Rule, Time Will Tell and Snngift finished in that order over half a mile in 53 3-ssec. Orcades finished in front of Elen, and Monsogne over five furlongs, run in 1.7 4-5.

Rovenn, The Lamb and Silent went seven furlongs practically from a standing start. So vena, finished well t-o beat Silent and The Lamb in 1.35 3-5. Orazone galloped on the plough, running half a mile in 51sec. Paitonu did pace work on the same track. Rarrvanda finished in front of Pink Rose in a bout over five furlongs, run in 1.8. Black Odin beat Royal Flight over three furlongs inn in 381-sec. Royal Flight continued on for the half-mile, doing it in 52.)see. Whysogne, Iciogne and Mo ml ip were companions over five furlongs, run in 1.8 1-5. Poteen. Killoch and Mountain Bell were schooled over the hurdles, the latter jumping two flights. Poteen jumped better than Killo-h. Afte>- breakfast Airtight and San Fern did a round, both giving a good display. War Flame finished in front of Glengariff over half a mile in 52Jsec.
