On Wednesday and Thursday eveniners the pupils' of the Hawora High School wore the guests of the Opera House authorities at the pictures. The thoughtfulness of the manager was •much 'appreciated, and all thoroughly enjoyed the evenings. On Thursday the pupils proceeded to Oh awe Beach for a picnic. The day was marred hy showers, hut all enjoyed the outing after the strenuous four weeks of examination work. The school is grateful to Mrs McEae for kindness extended to the picnickers during the day.
