COASTAL SHIPPING RATES REDUCED. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION-COPYRIGHT. Received 12.5 p.m. to-day. SYDNEY, Nov. 2. As the outcome of a- freight war among the coastal shipping companies, the Inter-State Shipowners’ Association is -reducing the freight rate between Melbourne and Sydney from 13/to 17/- per ton as from Friday next.
