SALE OF POLLED ANGUS BULLS.
(BY TELEGRAPH-PRESS association.) DANNEVIRKE, Oct. 11. The annual sal© of Polled Angus two-year-old bulls on behalf of Mr Frank Armstrong’s Akito stud, wa s sold yeisArmsbrong’s Akito stud was held yesthe hammer, the prices ranging from 46 guineas downwards the average, being 26 l-3rd guineas.
ABERDEEN ANGUS BREEDERS.
DANNEVIRKE, Oct: 11. At the annual meeting of the New Zealand Aberdeen Angus Breeders’ Association, held at Dannevirke last evening the president, Mr W. Kinross White, in the course of an address, stated that the finances were m a satisfactory condition, the accumulated fund amounting: to £695 8s lOd. He referred to the 6 teadily-growing popularity of the breed and to the unproved outlook for beef. Mr Kinross ‘White was re-elected president and Mr M. Greenwood was appointed vice-president. Votes of condolence were passed with the relatives of two deceased members. Messis S. G. < . (Gwavas) and Burling (Masterton).
