INDIANS IN REVOLT.
CATASTROPHE IN BOLIVIA FEARED. BY CABLE -PRESS ASSOCIATION -COPY HIGH! LA PAZ (Bolivia), Aug. 13. It is feared that in the event of the rising of 80,(XX) Indians in the departments of Potosi Cochabamba and Sucre spreading to the department of La. Paz it might become a catastrophe, because there are 200 Indians in La Paz and the whites are in a decided minority. It is expected the rising will be stamped out by so'.diers trained and equipped on modern lines, though it may require the sacrifice of many lives. Stories are current of depreciations at haciendas, the. owners of which arc fleeing before the infuriated descendants of the Incas. Garbed in red blankets, their women are following, carrying their babes on tlieir backs.
