PURDIE ’S -AND LEPPER 'S

OFFERING,

At Brixton yesterday there was another fine gathering- of buyers from North and South Islands to attend the sale of pedigree cattle from Messrs. H. M. Purdie’s (Snow View) and H. B. Lepper’s (Te Puke Awa) herds. Both are well known as successful breeders of high-class cattle. Mr. Purdie’s cows averaged £32 18/- and Mr. Le,pper’s got the good average of 31gns for his heifers. There was a healthy tone about the sale generally. The sale was conducted by Messrs. Newton King, Ltd., for whom Messrs. E. Griffiths “ (organiser), K. Kirk and P.
