Parliamentary Buildings at Melbourne, which l'or the past quarter of a century have housed the Federal Parliament, were formally handed back to the State. All records and books from the library, and most of the historic portraits, have been sent to Canberra, where they will be placed in the new Parliament Buildings in readiness for the official opening by the Duke of York on May 9.
