HAWERA MAIN SCHOOL.
MONTHLY MEETING
The monthly meeting of the Hawera Main School was held last evening, there being in attendance Messrs. J. W. Harding (chairman), L. H. Carrol .T. A. Dalgetty, G. H. Westwood, Worrall. Dr. W.* At. Thomson, C. H. Brough (secretary), and F. A. Bates (headmaster). An apology for absence was received from Mr. F. Latham. The chairman reported that the tennis courts had received a- final coat of restar and would be ready for pla.y as soon as they were marked. —This work was left in the hands of the secretary. It was decided to hold a school picnic at New Plymouth on February 11 if that date were suitable to the Railway Department. It was decided to invite the High, Fraser Road, Ararata, Tawhiti, Tokaora, and Wheraroa Schools to participate of the various schools will be held on Monday February 7.
