A ffi'flii" impr-ssion was conveyed in tlu* report published yesterday of the court case in which Inspector Hunt took action under the Explosives and Dangerous Goods Act against the Hawci a Transport Company with reference to 56 cases of benzine. Mr J. Houston appeared for the Borough Council, and in intimating to the court that he understood the defendant company would plead guilty, said the Borough Council merely desired a ease to act as a warning and would bn satified with a nominal nenalty. THEY WILL DISAPPEAR.
