A Press Association message from Rotorua stated that Sir Henry Grett was taken seriously ill and removed to King George V. Hospital, where he was operated upon for an abdominal trouble. This morning the patient was conscious and had spent a fair night. The operatioon was completely successful, but his age and strength 'are the' determining factors in the fight for life.
