FRACTUItEI> LEG. George Reed, aged 16 years, was admitted to the Hawera Hospital at 12.30 this afternoon, suffering from a compound fracture of a leg, the result of being run over by a dray. FOUND DROWNED. (BY TELEGRAPH PRESS ASSOCIATION.) . TAURANGA, Jan. 2(5. . The body of Edmund Thomas Vnughan, aged 63 years,-was found in the river at Katik.ati by some boys whilst bathing. At the inquest this morning a verdict was returned that death was due to drowning, there being no evidence to show how flip deceased got in the. river. A BOY DROWNED. HAMILTON, Jan. 27. Patrick Cassin, aged 11 years, a son of Mr F. P. Cassin, a telegraph linesman, was drowned in the Hamilton Lake last evening. The boy could not swim and got out of his depth.
