BIBLE IN SCHOOLS,
(by TELEGRAPH—PBESS ASSOCIATION.) WELLINGTON, Jan. 27. Acting upon the recommendation of its executive, the Wellington Education Board yesterday decided to request head teachers throughout its district to afford to accredited representatives of the Bible in Schools League facilities for extracting from the school admission registers the and addresses of parents of scholars attending their respective schools, in order that thereby a plebiscite of parents may be taken in relation to qugstions of religious instructions, as embodied in the Religious Exercise in Schools Bill introduced into Parliament last session.
