OLD OFFENDER CAUGHT. . THE WORST MAN IN SOHO. LONDON, Jan. 11. George Kent, aged 36, a motor mechatiic. who is known in the I/xpdon underworld as the worst man m &ono, wag sentenced to-day to 11 months hard labour as an incorrigible rogue. His nickname is “The Soho Terror. It took a detective 15 minutes to read a list of his previous convictions. The officer added that the only tiling jjfl Kent’s favour was that ho did not assault the police when he was last arThe Evening News recalls that Kent the associate of racing gangs, confidence tricksters, cracksmen, and blackmailers, boasted that he was seldom arrested without severely injuring the police. When lie wanted a drink he entered a Soho cafe and demanded tree refreshments for himself and his friends. It lie was refused he smashed the glasses and mirrors. , , , , . His mother recently presented hmi with a motor-car to start a carrying business. Kent worked for a month, and then resumed his vicious career.
