Marconis officially announce that the tests demonstrated that the AngloAustralian beam is capable oi working at a high speed each way for more hours tlian the terms of the Post Office contract require, but defects have developed on some auxiliary apparatus. The company has informed the Pk>st Office that it requires further, time 'to correct tho defects, therefore it- is not asking the Post Office to accept the station until the defects are remedied.
