AUCKLAND IN GOOD POSITION. <HY VKLEURAPH PRESS ASSOCIATION.) AUCKLAND, Jan. 24. The Plunket Shield match between Wellington and Auckland was continued to-day. The wicket was beginning to show signs of wear. Wellington’s second innings realised 323 runs, leaving Auckland 203 to get to win. Lowry’s century was a fine effort. Auckland had scored 167 for six wickets when stumps were drawn.
