SMOKING IN TBAMCARS. From time to time there have been complaints from lady passengers about smoking in tramcars, but the other daj, we observed a nose tilted with keen pleasure as some blue smoke was wafted by on the breeze. The phenomenon was so unusual that on inquiries being set afoot it was discovered that the gentleman outside was enjoying a cool, satisfying smoke of Bears" Smoking Tobacco Mild, and incidentally its fragrance was giving pleasure to his fellow passengers. This new tobacco is sold at all tobacconists a't 8d per ounce, loose. Try it! —Advt. GOOD IDEAS MEAN MONEY. How many “gadgets” have you fixed about you* home that other homes would welcome? Why not patent some of them! At least,* come and talk it over with us and let us advise you. Henry Hughes Ltd. (Directors: W. E. Hughes and J. T. Hunter), Begd.
