It will be a great pity if this horse is permanently affected in the wind, as his condition at present reflects credit on his trainer, Al. Conway. Uncle Dave and Take Take were companions over six flights. Uncle Dave showed to advantage and looks as well now as at any part of his career. Trainer Conway is giving Euchre and All Wind seaside treatment, walking them out to the beach each day, a distance of about five miles, and a cooling off in the salt water. Both horses appear to be thriving on the work. Weights for the Egmont Racing Club’s summer meeting are due on Alonday next.
