The Independent Wireless Telegraph Company to-day reoeivetl an S.O.S, from the British freighter Loyal Citizen, believed to be in the area, near Bermuda which was raked by a, hurricane yesterday. A inter wireless message said that the’ship’s rail was awash and the crew of thirty was preparing to take to the lifeboats.
A message relayed from the the .steamer Sirte stated: “Arrived at position. hut nothing in sight; unable to raise Loval Citizen by radio.”
