RACING TRAINER MISSING
LOST FROM RARiAWA

(BY TELEGRAPH PRESS ASSOCIATION.) AUCKLAND, Sep. 1. When- the Rarawa arrived ait Onehunga from New Plymouth at eight o’clock this morning, the police were informed by W. C. Hastings, that his employer, Charles W. Coleman, had been missing from the steamer since five o’clock. Coleman and Hastings occupied the same cabiu. Coleman retired at 8 p.m. to the bottom bunk, and was asleep when Hastings went to bed two hours later. At two o’clock Coleman asked Hastings. to get him some aispro tablets fronuthe steward, who could not supply them. An hour later the steward gave Coleman some water, and he went to sleep for two hours. Coleman then got up and said he was going to the lavatory. He was not seen afterwardls. Hajstings said 1 Coleman always' appeared in good humour and never seemed to be worried. [Mr Coleman was an Auckland trainer.]
