RULES AND REGULATIONS. Qualified hunters are these that have qualified in compliance with Part V. of the New Zealand Hunts’ Association Rules. Masters’ certificates of qualification must be produced at the scales, if not notified in the Official Calendar. The winner of any race after the declaration of weights may be re-handicapped. Part XV., Rule 13—“ By the entry of horses every person having or subsequently acquiring any interest in such horse, shall be deemed thereby to undertake neither directly nor indirectly to make any wager with a bookmaker in connection witli such horse, or any other horse in the race in which such corse is so entered. Each entry shall contain, or, if it do not contain shall be conclusively assumed to contain such an undertaking, breach whereof shall be deemed a corrupt practice on the turf within the meaning of Part XXXII. of these rules.’’ NOMINATIONS will close at the Secretary’s Office, Egmont Street, New Plymouth, on Monday, August 9th, at 9 p.m. WEIGHTS will be declared on or about Monday, August 16th.
