PERSONAL ITEMS.
At to-day’s meeting of the Haw era County Council a vote of condolence with Cr. Williams on the death of his mother was passed in silence. Advice has been received by Mr L. O. Hooker, local secretary for the Trin ity College of Music, London, that Mr Ronald Chamberlain will be in Hawera to conduct the practical examination on October 11 and 12.
