E. Gilligan 107, Larwood taking six for G 7). Notts won by 77 runs. Lancashire v. Middlesex.—Lancashire in the first innings made 484 for eight wickets, declared (E. -Tyldcsley 85, Watson 97, Iddon G 4, MacDonald (in) 100, Green (in) Gl). Middlesex in the first made 31G for five (Hcarnc 91, Enthovcn (in) 100). The match was drawn.

For Worcester, against Derby, Fox made 141 not out. Wilson, in the first innings, took five for 97, and in the second five for 74. For Derby Morton took five for 71. Derby won.

For Yorkshire against Leicester, Sutclitf made 200, Lcyl'aml 110. The match was abandoned owing to rain. For Northants against .Gloucester, Clark took five for 49 and Woolley five for 11. For Gloucester Dennet took five for 77 and Parker five for 43. Northants Avon.
