REA BR IGHT TOURNAMENT. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. NEW YORK, Aug. 5. At Seabright to-day, scoring a most impressive victory since her rturn to the courts after an operation, Helen Wills defeated Eleanor Goss in the semi-finals, 7—5, 6—4.
Richards has qualified to oppose Alouzo by defeating Hunter, 2—6, 6—2, 6 —3. Elizabeth Ryan will oppose Miss Wills, having defeated Mrs Mallory, 6 —4,. 6—2, In the doubles semi-finals, Johnson and Chandler eliminated White and Thalheimer, (5—4, 7—5.
