A largely attended meeting of the Pukeatua and Arohena soldier settlers yesterday unanimously urged the postponement of dairy control and supported the individual vote of the producer without the tonnage -basis for the election of the board. Judgment, was given in favour of the Canadian Government with costs as per scale. The action was brought by Welsh’s widow,, who claimed £31129 damages., Welsh was killed by a. cask, of pelts falling on him from a sling.
