He uas now doing odd jobs, and was incapable of hard work. , , The Deputy-Official Assignee stated that he had verified' the statement that the property was held m the wile s name, and consisted of a six-roomed house, and 18* acres at Tawhiti. Hits was subject to a first mortgage of £I3OO to Mr. Biaulhour. A second mortgage had been taken, by tlie Bank of New Zealand, further guaranteed by Mr J R, Corrigan to secure ail overdraft of £3OO. The property was valued at £1650. He stepped trading with the Farmers’ Co-op. two years 3,0-0, when, the account wais closed.
