BLACK MORE—JACKSON. A wedding of considerable .local interest was solemnised at St. Mary’s Church, Hawera, on Tuesday, June 1, when Ellen I'Torence, elder daughter of Mr and Mrs It. V. Jackson, of Normanby, was married to. Arthur Blackmore, eldest son of Mr and Mrs A. J. Blackmore, Te Horo, Otaki. The Bey Air Monaghan was the officiating o’ergyman.

The bride v who was given away Jbv her father, looked charming in a frock of ivory silk ottoman and georgette, adorned with pearls and silver lace. She wore a handsome veil of tulle embroidered in silver, with coronet of 1-K‘arts and orange blos-soms, and eari i*2td iL shower bouquet of white rose® and chrysanthemums. Her sister.
