VOTE OF CONFIDENCE.
IN LORD OXFORD. LIBERALS IN CONFERENCE. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION —COP HEIGHT. Received 12.55 p.m. to-day. LONDON, June 17. A resolution of confidence in Lord Oxford was unanimously carried at a meeting of the National Liberal Federation at Weston-super-Mare, where the supporters of Lord Oxford and Mr. Lloyd George mingled on the platform. The federation, by a large majority, declined to consider amendments suggesting that in view of the differences, it was advisable that a new and neutral leader should be elected. — Aus.-N.Z.
