INDIAN ARMY TEAM'S EASY WIN. (by TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION.) TIMARU, June 17. The Indian Army hockey, team played. the Geraldine Club to-day in line weather, but on a sodden ground. The visitors showed marked superiority at the game and won by Jo goals to nil. MANAIA (5) V. RAMBLERS' (0) The Mauiaia ladies’ eleven proved too strong for the Ramblers. (Hiaiwena) teaau at Mauaiia on. Wednesday and won by 5 goals to nil. Ramblers, wlio were a player short, made .a plucky showing against la bother combination. Ihe Mianaiia forward Jin© played with conspicuous dash throughout .and practically dominated the game, while on the occasions when till© Ramblers’ attacks threiaibened, the home rearguard proved equal to emergencies.
