MONUMENT DAMAGED.
VESSEL COLLIDES WITH IT IN FOG. SY CABLE—PBESS ASSOCIATION—COPYBIGHT. SYDNEY, June 17. During the fog an unknown vessel collided with and seriously damaged the monument to' the sculler Harry Searle, which marks the finishing point ! of the championship course on the Paramatta river. Six feet of the top of the monument was dislodged.
