McGLINCHEY BENEFIT.
GOOD SUPPORT RECEIVED. LIST OF DONATIONS. An excellent response has been received in connection with the appc-il being made throughout the Kaponga district on behalf of Airs. C. M *.- Glinchcy and family, of Kaponga, whose home and personal property were totally destroyed by fire last week. As has been previously mentioned in tu: Star, the loss involves severe hardship to Mrs. MeGlir.chcy, who is a 'widow with a family of three girls aged about three, five and seven years and two boys aged eight and nine respectively, and since the death of her husband some two and a half years ago has been endeavouring to provide for the famßy by working the property which had been farmed by the late Air. AtcGlincliey. Evidence of the genuine sympathy felt with the family is given in the ready support which has been accorded the appeal, the sum of £7O (is having been realised up to 10 a.m. today.
