The Dai]}"- Telegraph says the Dutch Lawn Tennis Association handed •I.acob, captain of the Indian Davis Cup team, the sum of £S4, the proceeds of the match between India and Holland. Instead of handing it over to the representative of the India Associa.tion, Jacob .paid the extra expenses of himself and the other players without having the account scrutinised, including entrance fees at Wimbledon, while the representative of the India Association had declined to pay.
