Mr T. M. Wilford announced at Wellington to-da-v that at a meeting of the executive r.f the National Party, the candidature of Mr A. B. Siev wright, of Wellington, for the Wellington South seat, on behalf of the National Party, was approved. Mr Sievwright is a young New Zealander, a returned soldier, and hohls the rank of major tn the forces. —Press Assn.
