IMPURE MILK DANGERS.
“MISERY AMD DISABILITY.’’ MEDICAL EXPERTS WARNING. “No food produces more misery and disability or a higher mortality than milk.” This .statement is made by Sir Henry Gauviu, medical .superintendent, since its foundation in 1908, of the Lord Mayor Treloar Cripples’ Hospital and College at London, and a recognised authority on tuberculosis, at a meeting of the National Association for the Prevention of , Tuberculosis. ' Drastic steps, said Sir Henry, should be taken to secure the adequate pasteurisation of milk and thus avoid exposing children to the hidden danger of tuberculosis.
