A hail of bullets riddled Walsh, killing him almost instantly. More than 50 shots were fiTed, -the crashing of firearms alarming the neighbourhood. Sergeant William Sweeney, the fourth member of the police squad, virtually single handed shot and captured the entire gangster crew. Young Genna. had 11,000 dollars in currency when h© was assassinated.
