Dairy farmers’ -attention is drawn to the- sale oni account of Mr. Alan Good being -held at. his Geo- yards on Friday, the 24th July. One hundred and •seventy in-calf heifers are being offered. of which- 45 are very choice three-year-old, the balance being all well done two-year-old, mostly jersey and all well in calf. See the notice in auction columns. Newton. King Ltd. advertise a clearing sale to be held on behalf of the estate of G. G. Simons (deceased), at Waitorild, Inglewood, on the 28th inst. The herd numbers 30 cows and there- is other stock, including a line of 30 springing heifers, also sheep, pigs, and 5 farm horses. At the same sale there will be offered a tip-top dairy herd of 30 cows on behalf of Mr G. Mehrteifs. In this issue appears an advertisement. of a sale of dairy heifers on account of Mr J. F. Stevenson, Manaia, by the Farmers’ Co-op. on. Monday, the 27th inst. These heifers are much above the ordinary, coming from herds of proven butter-fat strains and, furthermore, Mr Stevenson has. not sold one heifer, although lie has had many enquiries. As a result buyers are offered a golden opportunity to purchase from ai line of which the tops have not been sold. They are in great condition and all August calvers. The company recommends- these heifers to buyers in want of good replacement stock, and at this unreserved sale the dairying public is offered a good chance to purchase good heifers from authentic but-ter-fat. herds.
