SEAMEN’S THREAT. MEN TO RECONSIDER IT. OWNERS ALSO MEETING. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT (Received July 13, 12.10 p.m.) SYDNEY, July 13. Meetings have been called of the various branches of the Federated Seamen’s Union to reconsider the threat issued to shipowners that the men will be withdrawn to-morrow if their demands are not conceded. A conference lias also been called by the Commonwealth Owners’ Association of all shipowners, at which a common understanding on their attitude towards the seamen’s demand will be sought.
