JEALOUS JOCKEYS.
DONOGHUE’S SMASH. LONDON. June 2G. The Paris stewards have made the fullest investigation into the accident in.the Grand Prix recently, when Steve Donoghue was nearly killed. There have been many complaints or rough riding on French courses, and it was believed that the accident was the result of an organised attempt to interfere with Donoghue. of whom the French jockeys are jealous. The inquiry, however, did not reveal any such plot. It was found that Aquatinto 11., on entering the bend crossed its legs, and came down, throwing Donoghue.
