BOTTL E DRINKING FOUNTAINS.
The idea for a ‘‘bottle drinking fountain" is illustrated herewith. Thl3 type of drinking fountain ran be quickly contrived, and among its advantages is the great fact that birds cannot foul the water or upset it. The usual plan is to hang the fountain on ihc wall or partition. It consists of a simple wood back, hole d for hanging purposes. and having at its base a sheet metal or other container. 1 i to 2 inches deep. Inverted in this is a suitable bottle supported by two wire rings clipped to the back, as shown. The bottle acts as a reservoir, from which th e container is fed, the water in the later being maintained at a constant level until the bootle iS empty. As will be noted, the mouth of the bottle is raised a little above ?jae bp-ttom of the container.
