Evidence of the publicity being given to the development of electric- power resources pi New Zealand was given at the meeting of the Opunake Electric Power Board yesterday, when a letter wa s received from Mr. J. 0. D. Stewart, a previous resident of Opunake and now residing at Nowra, New South Wales, who asked for particulars concerning the scale of charges for light and power 'and construction costs for consideration in Nowra. where an electric power scheme wa s contemplated. The secretary’s action in forwarding the information requested was endorsed.
