On 'Wednesday next, July 15, Messrs Newton King, Ltd., will hold a clearing sale on account of G. H. Steele at Puniwhakau. On Monday next, 13th inst., N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Cm, Ltd., will hold a clearing sale at Kakaramea yards on account of Mr John Casserley. Attention is directed to an _ advertisement in this issue wherein the Government is offering a first-class freehold dairy farm for sale by public tender. The* property contains 200 acres, and is all in grass, easy flat to undulating land capable of carrying 50 dairy cows. The buildings are reported to he in good condition. The terms of sale are exceptionally easy, being not less than 10 per cent cash and balance on Government mortgage at •5 per cent interest and 1 repayable by instalments over a term of 34 years. The property should be well worth inspection, and the Lands Department will supply full particulars on application.

A clearing sale of particular interest to farmers wanting good cows horses and implements, is one to he held on behalf of Mr. W. W. Mpller, at Pukearuhe, on Wednesday next, 15th inst The herd is a large one. comprising 92 cows, the majority of which are / grade Jerseys that have been mated with pedigree Jersey bulls, and are c |ue to calve early. The Farmers’ Co-op. advise that on Monday, the 13tli inst., they will hold a clearing sale on account of Mr. P. W. Meira, Pembroke Road, Straifo'd. This very choice good bodied herd comprises all young Jersey cows, which are in splendid condition. This herd has produced over 280 lbs. fat per cow off very cold country. Thee are all due to calve early to pedigree Jersey bull. Anv dairyman desiring to obtain good heavy producing dairy cows should not fail to attend this sale. The attention of dairy farmers is drawn to the sale of dairy stock to lie held at Austin Road, Normanby, on Monday next, on account of Mr -A. J. Mc-Asey. The dairy herd is a good one, the cows under unfavourable conditions having produced 3001bs. butterfat last season. The young stock, although not numerous, are a choice lot. while the farm sundries are in, good order. The sale is being conducted by Messrs R. P. Morrissey and Co., and is timed to start at 1.15. o’clock..
