LONDON WOOL SALES. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., lias received the following cablegram from its London house under date 7th inst.: —“There was a. full attendance at the opening of the sales to-day, competition by Frencli buyers being good, and prices, as compared with the close of preceding series, ruled in sellers’ favour for good greasy merino. Inferior merino was neglected. Other merino and fine crossbred showed Jittle change. For medium and coarse crossbred the tendency of the market was easier. Small demand for Home trade. The opening catalogues were fairly representative.”
