The hospital authorities ’ reported this morning that the boy James Carhis, who was recently injured,, was doing well. A London cable message reports that Lord Islington, a former Governor of New Zealand, is seriously ill. following on nn operation.
'Sir George Clifford hast been unanimously re-elected to the position of nresidemt of the New Zealand Rlaoing Conference.
Rack from Rotorua after several months of treatment for rheumatism, Mr. Fied Livingston is, his many friends will be glad to hear, much improved in health and looking fit and well. Mr. Livingston speaks in high praise of the treatment received at the -anatovi'.un. especially of tiie work of the masseurs. (
