SCHOOLBOY LYING ON BRIDGE. After several hours, as he had not regained consciousness, it was deemed advisable by the doctor to have him removed to the Hawera. Hospital, and the ambulance van of the Hospital Board later conveyed the boy to the hospital, where he now lies. Residents- of the district will hope that his injuries are not as serious as indicated at present, and that he will make a speedy recovery.

CONDITION UNCHANGED. STILL UNCONSCIOUS AT NOON. On inquiry at the Hawera hospital at noon to-day a Star reporter learned that there had been- no change in the condition of the boy Carbis since lus admission. He was still unconscious, suffering from concussion.
