Mr. Jardine, Secretary t'o'r Agriculture, lias announced that there have been wrongful manipulations of the wheat market, but definite., evidence upon which to base convictions has not so far been uncovered, investigations would clearly show wide fluctuations, due primarily to heavy trading among a limited number of professional specielators, whose operations were facilitated by large public participation after material advances had occurred in January. Mr. Jardine desired to develop a method whereby a repetition of erratio price changes be obviated. —Sydney Sun Cable.
